*MAKING EVANGELISM PERSONAL*

_Key Bible Text:_
*A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.* (John 13:34 NKJV)

_Bible Insight:_
Evangelism: sharing the message of Jesus! _Hopefully, this thought inspires excitement and eagerness in you._ Jesus changes everything, and that is too good not to share! However, while many of us know and believe this, the thought of evangelism sets off the butterflies in our stomach. Keep reading.

*You do not need to be good at memorization, public speaking, or answering biblical questions to effectively share the hope you have in Christ. You just have to be willing to make it personal.*

What does that mean? Well, you understand the concept. No one enjoys being bulldozed by information or stuck in a sales pitch. What draws you to someone is their realness—how they make you feel valued, appreciated, seen, or a part of something. People would much rather follow a real friend than a stranger, and we can introduce others to Jesus by following His example of making it personal. 

There is so much power in learning someone’s name, finding what matters to them, listening to their story, and believing in what they can do. Throughout His life, this was Jesus’ mission. Even though He is the Son of God, He did not come to be served, but to serve others. He used His life to show people how they could be part of something really special: the Kingdom of God.

MEDITATION:
*Write down the names of a few people you care about who have not yet met Jesus. You don’t have to do anything else at the moment. Just allow those names and faces to come to the forefront of your mind today.*

In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
