*UNDERSTANDING THE HEART*

_Key Bible Text:_
* Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.* (Matthew 5:8 (KJV)) 

_Bible Insight:_
To become anything, your heart plays a vital and inevitable role. In fact, to live you need your heart to be okay biologically or medically. To engage in business, you need your heart to be up to it. To engage in love relationship, you need the right heart. To walk with God, and live a life that pleases God, your heart must be in the right place and in the right state. 

The heart is the heart of the matter of life. Anyone who takes time to study and understand the heart has definitely engaged in a worthwhile venture. Your understanding of the heart will make you pay attention to the state of your heart per time. Men who ensure that their hearts are right with God, above all else achieve a life of peace and fulfilment. 

Don't joke with issues of the heart. Ponder your heart. Ponder the issues that you let into your heart and be sure they are healthy ones. Be jealous about how you guard your heart. The purity of your heart is the guarantee that you will see God. Your purity of heart is your best decision ever. However it is one thing to decide to have a right heart but it is another thing to ensure a right heart. Receive grace to get it right!

In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
