*BE STRONG IN THE LORD (1)*

*“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might." (Ephesians 6:10)

_Bible Insight:_ 
Every believer have the capacity to stay strong in the Lord. Our challenge most of the time, is we only wish for but do so little to get our desires achieved. The scriptures are replete with information that'll help every believer yearning for spiritual growth to attain spiritual heights.

After salvation, no Christian gets more "christian-ed" so to say, with the mere passage of time. Rather, it is by exposing ourselves to the things of the Spirit, that our knowledge of what God has done for us in Christ becomes our reality and the influence of His Spirit further changes our identity.

We can be all that the word says about us. We can have all it says we have and we can do mighty things through the word and the name of Jesus! In this series we will try to take a practicable approach to the things that increases the influence of the Spirit in our lives.

In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
