*BE STRONG IN THE LORD (2)* 

_Key Bible text:_
*"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”* (Ephesians 6:10)

_Bible Insight:_ 
One would wonder why God requires us to be strong; of what importance is our being strong to Him? It's worthy to note firstly that being strong is a function of our input through deliberate dedication to self spiritual grooming.

Therefore being weak or strong is a function of our decision. God needs us to be strong, for it is in our strength that His reign on earth is fostered into reality. The advancement of God's kingdom on earth can only be possible when we give heed to the great commission that says "GO".

Everytime one opens Mark 16:15, that instruction to "GO" is as loud as when it was first drummed. Secondly, when we are strong in the Lord, it saves us from much drama. The days are evil and wickedness has never ceased to lurk around the hearts of men.

MEDITATION: 
*The Bible says that the hearts of men are full of evil. The society therefore is full of folks with Ill feelings and the believer's stand in the spiritual realm is the only guarantee for a successful sail through this polluted world*

In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
