*CRY FOR A NEW NIGERIA*

_Key Bible Text:_
*And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reasons of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrow; and I am come down to deliver them* (Exodus 3:7-8)

_Bible Insight:_
Nigeria is currently in a state of emergency. Businesses and people's sources of livelihood has been either looted or raised down to ashes. Lawlessness is fast becoming the order of the day. A lot of negative things has stormed our dear country over the last couple of days and the effects are far reaching. Our peace and sanity are not spared in times like this. 

As believers the earlier we realize that we are the ones that Nigeria is waiting for, the better for us and the world at large. We need to wake up to our mandate because God is counting on us to do just that. We are the channels that God will pass through to effect the changes we desire to see in our society (Romans 8:19). We should be sensitive to recognize and appreciate our stake in what is happening in our country today.

When God wants to deliver a nation, He goes through available channels (like Moses). And we know that Nigeria is ripe for God's deliverance but the question has always been on our availability. Do you still underestimate what your prayers can do? God's ears and eyes are always attentive to the cry of the righteous (Psalm 34:15,17).

*"He who knees before God can stand before any man." Let God do the leading and follow Him by all means.*

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
