Spiritual Servants Like Apostle Paul

*DAILY DEW 30TH/OCTOBER/2020*

*Spiritual Servants Like Apostle Paul*

_Key Bible Text:_
*"Live in such a way as to cause no trouble either to Jews or Gentiles or to the church of God. Just do as I do; I try to please everyone in all that I do, not thinking of my own good, but of the good of all, so that they might be saved.”* (1Cor. 10:32-33)

_Bible Insight:_
On this side of eternity, there is always something to be done. It is either you are working for God or the devil, consciously or unconsciously but not simultaneously according to (Matthew 6:24). Paul while he was still Saul laboured diligently against God's people. Infact, he became the chief persecutor of the Church in Acts 8 verse 3.

One of the special attribute that our Christian faith confers on us as followers of Christ is having a sense of responsibility. We can see this in Paul's attitude to work. Not minding the fact that He was the last apostle to be appointed, he approached his work with so much passion and commitment.

For Paul, his work was about telling the Goodness, and telling it without addition of human wisdom so that Christ's death on the cross is not robbed off of it's power. He was ever ready to defend his assignment. Rather than argue or compare himself with the rest of the apostles he was rather on the same frequency with the Spirit.
