*THE DAWN OF A NEW DAY* (II)

_Key Bible Text:_
*“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee."* ( Isaiah 60:1-2 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_
We are not going to have light, if we don't arise. *Arise* is an action. Darkness is already operating. We can't fight it off without arising. You may look like you don't have "light" or that your right to arise is contested. Don't give in to that lie. Just arise. Take the bold step and do just that -- arise. You can't shine if you do not arise. 

Jesus said in Matthew 5:14 (KJV) *Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.* Are you sure you have taken your position on a hill? You can't shine if you do not take your position on a hill; you will be hidden. If you hide, you won't see the light. If you come out and take your place, your God will give you light! Don't wait for your light or your right before you rise! Now is the time, arise! 

Even in Nigeria, if we will only "arise" and do so now, not later, not tomorrow, not in 2021 or 2022. If we can only arise today and now and keep shining or at least attempting to shine, we will surly see the light. A new day is here. A new dawn. If you still can't feel it or see it, you have to change your position and arise!

*DAILY DEW 16TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *THE WAY OF THE CROSS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.* (1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *Through Christ’s death on the cross, those who turn to Him are delivered from both the penalty and the power of sin.* (1 Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible) What are the benefits that accrue to us from following the cross, or carrying the cross to follow Jesus? In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
