*Yesterday's Victory is Not Enough*

_Key Bible Text:_
*“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,"* (Philippians 3:13 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_
Life does not tolerate one-time success. God created the world in six days. Yet, it was not enough. He destroyed the temple and in three days rebuilt it. Of course, the temple was Christ, his death the destruction and then his rising after three days, the rebuilding of the temple. The same God worked uncountable wonders through the Acts of the Apostles. That's not all, today, the acts of the apostles, and believers like you and I continues.

Beloved, the will of God is that yesterday's victory is never enough. One time success is not the goal. The goal is from victory to victory, from glory to glory. The plan of God is that yesterday's victory will only be a motivation to do more. One day, Jesus sent out seventy disciples to do outreach. When the seventy disciples returned from a successful evangelism outreach, they were jubilant. Jesus calmed them down and asked them to rejoice because their names were written in heaven.

Heaven demands that we stay progressive:- *For if these things be in you, and ABOUND, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.* (2 Peter 1:8-9 (KJV))
This passage lists certain things we must have in increasing order if we must become blind, and lost in our sins again. Beloved, forget both the defeats and the victories of yesterday, focus on tomorrow's greater possibilities!

MOTIVATION:
*Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.* (2 Peter 1:12 (KJV))
