*Age Long Wisdom (II)*

_Key Bible Text:_
*"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise."* (Proverbs 11:30 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_
You know we said soul winning has been an age long thing! You should wonder, "but Jesus only died in the New Testament?" Well, actually Jesus died or was billed to die from the foundation of the world! Yes! See Revelations 13:8. 

Let's go back to the question, though. Salvation was basically turning away from unrighteousness to righteousness. However, here the thing: In the Old Testament, it was okay for you to seek the law of Moses, make sacrifices for your shortcoming and strive to keep the law or vice versa. In the New Testament, you basically don't have any other means of getting at righteousness, except believing and receiving Jesus! 

See that now! This era is actually simpler than the former. So when we talk of soul winning now, you must win a soul through Christ. No other righteousness will suffice except the righteousness that comes through faith in Christ Jesus. When next you think of soul winning, think of Christ taking over a soul!

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
