*Kingdom PARTNERSHIP* (III)
_Key Bible Text:_
*"And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do. And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark. But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work. And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus; And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God."*
_Bible Insight:_
There is an aspect of partnership that is not as interesting as the rewards of partnership. This is that part that involves handling disputes and conflicts. Divine partnerships are not immune to serious disputes and conflicts. To think that because God commanded therefore there will be no disputes or conflicts is both naive and childish. Everything that involves humans, is prone to suffer from human flaws.
The great Apostle Paul and his faithful partner, Barnabas had their own share of dealing with disputes and conflicts in their missionary work. It is interesting to note that anything can become a source of conflict; anything! It may be something serious or something unserious. Imagine how a simple matter as choosing another partner or fellow workman, caused so much dispute to the extent that the two partners, parted ways.
We therefore must learn that handling disputes must be done prayerfully and with meekness. Many times conflicts arises because neither party wants to suffer a compromise on the issue at hand. Untimely separation of partnership happens when both parties insist on having their ways, rather than reaching some sort of compromise for the over all good of the greater goal of the partnership.
