TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH

*TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH*

_Key Bible Text:_
*For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation UNTO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH.* (Acts 13:47 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_
Jesus said we are the light of the world; everyone who have received the life of Christ is a light to this world. We aren't designed by the new birth to live any less than lights in a dark world. Imagine if after Jesus ascended on high, the twelve disciples had relaxed or lost focus on their core assignment? We are called "for salvation unto the ends if the earth". 

William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army, said and I quote:
_"'Not called!' did you say?
'Not heard the call,' I think you should say. Put your ear down to the Bible, and hear Him bid you go and pull sinners out of the fire of sin. Put your ear down to the burdened, agonized heart of humanity, and listen to its pitiful wail for help. Go stand by the gates of hell, and hear the damned entreat you to go to their father's house and bid their brothers and sisters and servants and masters not to come there. Then look Christ in the face — whose mercy you have professed to obey — and tell Him whether you will join heart and soul and body and circumstances in the march to publish His mercy to the world."_

The question is, are you ready, to do your bid, to play your role, to move the Gospel by all means and at all costs to the ends of the earth? Our light must shine unto the ends of the earth. Your immediate corner feels most intensely the impact of your light, when you stretch your capacity to shine further and farther unto the ends of the earth!

*DAILY DEW 21ST/DECEMBER/2021* *FINANCING MISSIONS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.* (Galatians 6:2, 10 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ How do we get it?  Perhaps if I were to tell you how we do NOT get it, it would help. We do not raise it by means of suppers, bazaars, concerts, rummage sales, or oyster stews. Not because I am against these methods, but because they will not work. What does a business man do when he runs across a method that will not work? He scraps it, does he not?  Now listen. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
