*ACHAN ‘THE LITTLE SIN’*

_Key bible Verse:_
*“Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff.”*
(‭‭Joshua‬ ‭7:11‬ ‭(NKJV))

_Bible Insight:_
After a major victory against Jericho, the Lord had directed that they take everything except the spoils which belonged to him. But Achan, couldn’t just take his eyes off the beautiful garment in the midst of the spoils. He thought God wouldn’t notice. 

That little sin amongst the sanctified Israelites caused the Lord to depart from their midst. As a result, Joshua cried unto the Lord, and the Lord said all Israel had sinned. However the way out was to single out the sinner and cast him away.

Most times in our lives, we get into tiny little sins as we call it. Yet, knowing fully well that our hands are not clean and our lives aren’t righteous, we accuse God of unfaithfulness and cry as though he doesn’t want to give us victory. But no, he wants to. *We must purify our camp and ensure that every garbage and heavy load is thrown away.* We must not hinder our victory with our own hands.

MEDITATION: 
*You have the victory already, don’t hinder it’s manifestation with sin.*

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
