*GOD’S PROMISES ARE CLOSER THAN YOUR IMPATIENCE*

_Key Bible Text:_
*“Just as Saul was finishing with the burnt offering, Samuel arrived. Saul went out to meet and welcome him,”* (‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭13:10‬ ‭(NLT‬‬))

_Bible Insight:_
Saul had been given an instruction to await the arrival of Samuel. Saul has waited seven days and Samuel wasn’t forthcoming. He Looked at his left and his rights, saw the crowd growing restless or so he thought to himself and made a rather rash decision. In impatience, he decided to make the sacrifices in the absence of Samuel. It happened that Samuel arrived just afterwards.

This is similar to the instructions that God has given us over our lives. But when we look around us, it seems as though things are getting out of hands and if we don’t wait and act fast, we are going to be destroyed. Don’t get impatient. Your victory is closer than your impatience. Just a little while, wait and look upon Jesus. Don’t give in to the devil’s demands.

Saul would have had his throne established forever, but his eagerness to get the work done, no matter how, destroyed this promise. God knows you need a miracle, just don't blow it nagging God or giving up on God!

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
