*HEED THE WARNING* 

_Key Bible Text:_
*“The Lord was very angry with Solomon, for his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.”* (‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭11:9‬ ‭(NLT‬‬))
_Bible Insight:_
Solomon was a great man whom God loved dearly and who loved the Lord dearly as well. He was blessed with such a wisdom as no one can ever have and long life as long as he stayed in obedience to God. In all his splendor, the Bible records that his weakness is his love for foreign women. Foreign women were not to be married by the children of Israel because they always seduced Israel into idolatry. But this was Solomon's most preferred choice.

Be careful dear beloved of Christ what you love. Love for any godless person or thing will eventually take you away from the destiny that God has prepared for you. Those desires will not die, they will grow until they choke the desire that you have for God. God and mammon cannot be served at once. Why not submit your mammons to God? Whatever love of this world that you have should be submitted.

Solomon was later deceived by his foreign wives into idolatry despite the fact that the Lord appeared to Solomon twice but Solomon did not heed. This led to the great division of the Kingdom of Israel. Consider this a warning today.

*DEAR LORD HELP ME SUBMIT ANY EVIL DESIRE IN ME TO YOUR COUNSEL.*

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
