*LIVING IN THE EXPECTATION OF HIS COMING* 

Key Bible text:
*Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.*
(Acts 1:11 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_
I once was at an event where the focus was on teaching about how we can become Transgenerationally relevant: this means being relevant beyond one's generation. Along the line, a thought flashed through my mind: *"Why strive to be relevant beyond one's generation when Jesus is actually coming back soon?"* Right there at the meeting, I mentioned the thought and it was addressed and we moved on.

As I reflect on this topic, I realize that sometimes most people run along with misconceptions or extreme views on this issue. Some assume that because Jesus is coming back soon, it means we should pay little or no attention on the things of this world and just move along doing nothing but waiting for Jesus to show up in the skye. This is what some people do but it is not the right response.

Some on the other hand, do not take the fact that Jesus is coming back soon seriously, especially because it has become a cliché and one sometimes wonder if he would actually come soon. So they bother less about how to prepare and await his coming and actually get carried away by everything else in this world aside looking for and waiting for that blessed hope and appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.  
What then is the right response?!

*For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;* (Titus 2:11-13 (KJV))

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
