New Year Resolution

*NEW YEAR RESOLUTION*

_Key Bible Text:_
*And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.* (Habakkuk 2:2)

_Bible Insight:_
We all like to plan for and towards a new year and the plan becomes a resolution. Usually the resolution revolves around finance, relationship, academics, career, family, personal development etcetera.

Ironically, very few plan or make a resolution towards their spiritual growth rather they leave it all to chance and take the year as it goes.
This ought not to be so. Without a concrete decision towards one's spiritual growth, it'll be rather impossible to attain any spiritual height let alone making exploits.

A serious believer should make deliberate plan towards:
*Prayers
*Diligent study of the word
*Attending life changing retreats or other believer's meetings
*Consistency in church services
*Giving
* And also being available to serve.

MEDITATION:
*All of the above won't make any difference if diligence and consistency is not applied.*

*DAILY DEW 16TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *THE WAY OF THE CROSS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.* (1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *Through Christ’s death on the cross, those who turn to Him are delivered from both the penalty and the power of sin.* (1 Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible) What are the benefits that accrue to us from following the cross, or carrying the cross to follow Jesus? In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
