*SIT, STAND & WALK* (II)

_Key Bible Text:_
*Watch ye, STAND fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.* (1 Corinthians 16:13 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_
The scriptures urges believers so many times to stand. Standing is one of the evidence of growth in the Kingdom. After we have been sited in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, the next position we are required to assume is to stand. This is the place where understanding is called for. Standing requires putting into practice the knowledge of God's word. 

This standing position, presupposes that we must understand the word and stand fast in faith. Faith comes by hearing the word and hearing the word becomes fruitful when the word is mixed with faith. Many are sited with Christ who become relaxed at that stage of sitting. 

Beyond sitting, we must rise up in faith. The knowledge of the word helps us to take our standing position. This is the sign that we are growing and are responsible. It is not enough to sit with Christ, we must also rise up by faith and live up to our Kingdom responsibilities. 

MEDITATION:
*Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.* (Galatians 5:1 (KJV))

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
