*SIT, STAND & WALK* (III)

_Key Bible Text:_
*As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so WALK ye in him:* (Colossians 2:6 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_
The third progression, is to WALK, after first sitting and then standing. Walking is the greater part of responsibility expected of the believer. There is no one who comes to Jesus that remains sited without also standing and then walking. 

We are called to walk even in Christ Jesus. In several places, the scriptures enjoins us to walk and how to walk: we should walk in newness of life (Rom 6:4), we are to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit (Rom 8:1,4), we are to walk charitably (Rom 14:15), we are not to walk carnally as other men do (1 Cor 3:3), we are not to walk in craftiness (2 Cor 4:2) etc 

Hence, the believer's walk is one that must be given a special attention. We must walk in the footsteps of Jesus. This is the order of spiritual growth. We begin by siting as Kingdom members. Then we must stand based on the word of God, holding fast by faith. Then finally, we must walk by faith. By standing we operate in the defensive but by walking we operate in the offensive. We must walk in order to advance the works of Christ.

*For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.* (Ephesians 2:10 (KJV))

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
