*SPIRIT OF TRUTH*

_Bible Text:_
*But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:* (John 15:26 (KJV)) 

_Bible Insight:_
The "Spirit of Truth" captures another great dimension of the Holy Spirit. We have seen an aspect of the "Spirit of Faith" dimension of the Holy Spirit. The part of the Holy Spirit that the name the Spirit of Truth reveals, is a very important aspect. The Holy Spirit inspires us to seek the Truth- Jesus, the Christ. All who realizes their need for truth, are under the sway of the Holy Spirit.  

The Holy Spirit is the one who reveals the truth about the person of Jesus. Without the revelation that the Holy Spirit gives, the person of Jesus and the truth He is, would remain a mystery. Without truth, salvation remains impossible. Only the Holy Spirit makes us see the light of the truth of God's word. 

The Holy Spirit helps us to recognize and reject anything that is contrary to the truth. The Holy Spirit helps us discern the truth from the lie. Without the Holy Spirit we would be unable to detect the truth of salvation and eternal life. One of the greatest help we get from the Holy Spirit, is that He leads us into all truth.

*Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.* (John 16:13 (KJV))

*DAILY DEW 16TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *THE WAY OF THE CROSS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.* (1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *Through Christ’s death on the cross, those who turn to Him are delivered from both the penalty and the power of sin.* (1 Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible) What are the benefits that accrue to us from following the cross, or carrying the cross to follow Jesus? In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
