*The Spirit of Faith* (II)

_Key Bible Text:_
*We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus to life, will also raise us up with Jesus and take us, together with you, into his presence. All this is for your sake; and as God's grace reaches more and more people, they will offer to the glory of God more prayers of thanksgiving.* (2 Cor. 4:14-15)

_Bible Insight:_
Continuing our reflection on the person of the Holy Spirit and his peculiar role as the Spirit of Faith. He makes us talk tough; we speak what we believe, inspired by His words and workings. He makes us see that there is good to come out from death. He makes us to see that we are not powerless before death. We are not weak before death. Death is not an end but a means to an end. 

He makes us see that when alive, Christ lives in us. When we are dead, we go to live with God. Whichever way, we are not losing out and God reigns all through. In our text for today, Paul speaks of how all their strivings, whereby they come close to death, is only making more grace abound towards the church. As God's grace extends to more people, more people raise prayers of thanksgiving unto God. Hallelujah! 

God's will is for the extension of his grace to as many people are as possible. We are the channels through which the Holy Spirit will cause his grace to abound to your neighbour, your colleague, your fellow student, etc To be more effective in God's hands, and in the spreading of the grace of God, we must remember that the Spirit of Faith causes us to live above the fear of death!

*For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.* ( 2 Corinthians 4:15 (KJV))

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
