*FROM BEING BUSY TO TRUE PURPOSE (III)*

_Key Bible Text:_
*Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;* (Philippians 4:6 (NKJV))

_Bible Insight:_
Making decisions can be one of the hardest things we do. When we have to make a choice, it’s easy to get stuck because of the fear that we might choose the wrong one. This “analysis paralysis” causes us to waste a lot of time and energy and keeps us busy rethinking our options and replaying our decisions. 

Two factors typically come into play with analysis paralysis. We either (1) let fear tell us we will make the wrong decision and freeze, or (2) we refuse to refine our choices, become overwhelmed by the sheer scope of them, and shut down. 

As a result, we waste time and energy when making even the most mundane decisions because we lack the confidence to make a decision in a world of options. But what if I told you it doesn’t have to be that way? Because it doesn’t. I’ll show you how. 

Like it or not, every single decision we make takes us down the road closer to the destination that is our future. What we think, believe, hope for, study, or dream about doesn’t affect the outcome of our future. The decisions we make and the actions we take do. With that much depending on our decision-making ability, it’s no wonder we become paralyzed. 

In any decision in life, it’s important to pray and look for answers in scripture. James 1:5 tells us, _“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”_ We have to trust that the God of the universe is working out something great in our lives. Knowing that, we have to continue to seek His wisdom and then stay the course.

*Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness*
*I dare not trust the sweetest frame, 
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name*

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
