*THE SPIRIT OF HOLINESS* 

_Key Bible Text:_
*Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the SPIRIT OF HOLINESS, by the resurrection from the dead:* (Romans 1:3-4 (KJV)) 
_Bible Insight:_
Yet another revelation of the person of the Holy Spirit, is found in the name, the Spirit of Holiness. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Holiness. It sounds tautological but it is necessary to emphasize the mission of the Holy Spirit in the life of Christ and by extension in the life of Christians. 

The Spirit of Holiness is what made Jesus stand truly as the son of God. Christ will not be Christ if He does not walk in holiness. The divine nature of Christ, is reaffirmed by the operation of the Spirit of Holiness. The sonship of Jesus to the Father is also reestablished by his resurrection from the dead-- which is also the operation of the Holy Spirit. (Rom 8:11)

Hence, the Spirit of Holiness is what guarantees our identity as the sons of God. By the Spirit of Holiness we are divinely enabled to walk in holiness and righteousness. We can't operate in the Holiness expected of us, if we fail to walk/work with the help of the Spirit of Holiness. 

MEDITATION
*Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.* (2 Corinthians 7:1 (KJV))

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
