*WALKING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT (II)*

*The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you.* (John 14:26 (GNT))

_Bible Insight:_
There are 2 major things we need to do to walk daily in the Spirit:

*First, we must stay yielded to the Spirit*. We must say yes when He prompts us to take certain action or speak a certain word. We must give mental assent to the Spirit’s direction and then actually obey His prompting, following through with what He’s called us to do.

*Second, we must believe His guidance.* We’re much more likely to hear what the Holy Spirit has to say if we’re actively listening for Him to speak. We’re much more likely to see the Holy Spirit’s direction if we’re looking for Him. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that God is a “rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” We’re to be diligent in seeking His guidance, asking for it, watching for it, anticipating it, and receiving it.

The Holy Spirit has come to reveal the truth to us. He has come in His all-knowing ability to impart what we need to know in order to live obedient and faithful lives. Trust Him to guide you, now and always

MEDITATION:
*When, however, the Spirit comes, who reveals the truth about God, he will lead you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own authority, but he will speak of what he hears and will tell you of things to come.*

*DAILY DEW 16TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *THE WAY OF THE CROSS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.* (1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *Through Christ’s death on the cross, those who turn to Him are delivered from both the penalty and the power of sin.* (1 Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible) What are the benefits that accrue to us from following the cross, or carrying the cross to follow Jesus? In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
