*GOD IN MAN*

*Key Bible text:_*
*To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.*
(2 Corinthians 5:19 (KJV))

*_Bible Insight:_*
God's nature and character are seen clearly in Christ Jesus. The prophets truly prophesied in parts and when their prophecies are read in parts it portrays a distorted or a rather complicating image of God the father. 

It is impossible to have a God in the old testament who was all wicked but when he took on flesh he then turned all loving and kind..that readily points to a missing piece in the old testament. 

Hebrews 1:1-3 defines jesus as the Express image of God..so when I try to understand who God was/is I look at jesus as my ultimate answer.

There's a common saying that God is mysterious,that may be true to an extent but God wants to be understood that's why he inspired the writing of 66 books of the bible explaining himself.

*And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.* (Hebrews 8:11)

*DAILY DEW 16TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *THE WAY OF THE CROSS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.* (1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *Through Christ’s death on the cross, those who turn to Him are delivered from both the penalty and the power of sin.* (1 Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible) What are the benefits that accrue to us from following the cross, or carrying the cross to follow Jesus? In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
