THE MARK

*THE MARK*

_Key Bible Text:_
*You are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and you* (Gen 17:11 (NIV))

_Bible Insight:_
We know the importance of a signature on a document; it is an authentication and a commitment to the terms of that agreement. God entered a covenant with Abraham and assigned the circumcision as a mark of the covenant. For this reason, every Israelite got circumcised in order to tap into this covenant and the blessing that follows it. By circumcision, every Israelite came under the Abrahamic covenant thereby committing God to protecting them and establishing them.

So what do we do now, how do we get into the Abrahamic covenant without the mark of circumcision? 
There is a link between the mark of circumcision and the mark that Paul declared that for its reason no one should trouble him. First Christ is referred to as the seed of Abraham and then he is also referred to as the circumcision. By coming under Christ by accepting him as your Lord and Savior, you enter under a new covenant with Christ that involves the Abrahamic blessing and many more. 

We no longer have a circumcision of the foreskin but the circumcision of the heart which can only take place when Christ comes into your heart. 

That now is the mark. The mark that prevents you from being troubled by Satan or his agents. Don’t wait till Jesus comes. The mark is now upon you that you belong to Christ, just like the mark was upon the Israelites that made them unstoppable. Walk in this consciousness:the Mark is upon you now.

MEDITATION:
*From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.* (Galatians 6: 7)

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
