*DIVINE FLASHLIGHT*

*Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.*
(Psalms 119:105 (AMP))

_Bible Insight:_
God’s Word, just like a giant divine flashlight, illuminates our paths in life. The light of His Word gives us the direction and guidance we need to take the next step. As we seek Him daily through prayer and the reading of His Word, He’ll confirm the way we should go. His Word brings clarity. It is living, active, and applicable to any and every situation we face. When we come to a crossroad in life and we’re not sure which way to go, His Word reminds us to “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33). 

Do you need clarity in a situation you’re facing? Do you find yourself at a crossroad, not sure which way to turn? Let’s seek Him first daily and watch as He illuminates the next step, giving us vision and direction. Just as a flashlight in the dark reveals the next step, Jesus will show us what we need to see to move forward without stumbling in the dark.

*DAILY DEW 16TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *THE WAY OF THE CROSS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.* (1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *Through Christ’s death on the cross, those who turn to Him are delivered from both the penalty and the power of sin.* (1 Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible) What are the benefits that accrue to us from following the cross, or carrying the cross to follow Jesus? In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
