*DON'T WASTE THE WAIT* (2)

_Key Bible Text:_
*Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.* (Acts 17:16 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_
One of the greatest things to do is to invest the waiting seasons of life. For every time of waiting there is time for something that can't wait. When you are waiting on God in fasting, you're supposed to be praying and reading the word. When a farmer is waiting for seeds to grow, he is supposed to be watering and keeping the farm weedless and pest-less. 

Whenever there is something to wait for, there is something that can't wait. Sometimes it takes a discerning mind, to discover what must not be delayed. The waiting seasons of life are an opportunity to redirect your focus to something that needs attention and cultivation. 

When you have made an investment and you are waiting for your returns, get engaged with another task. When you are waiting for the right partner or for the right time to finally wed, get busy with personal & career development. Also get busy getting the needed knowledge and finances for the next season of your life, e.g. marriage.

Paul was waiting for his ministry partners in Athens but discovered that the people of Athens were neck deep into idolatry. His spirit was stirred in him to do something about it. Sometimes when there are certain things you can't do anything about, at that same time, there are still things you can do a whole lot about. Redirect the anxiety for the wait into passion for something that can't wait. Eventually, what you are waiting for will materialize and meet a bigger and better you!

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
