*GIVING IS GAINING!*

_Key Bible Text:_
*Give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands—all that you can 837 6984 8033. The measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you.”* (Luke 6:38 (GNT))

_Bible Insight:_
Could there be a secret power connected to generosity? The answer is 100% yes. Generosity is one of the most powerful concepts in personal growth and blessings because the Bible says, “‘Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.’” (Luke 6:38, NIV) We started to look at this verse before, but it’s important to unwrap it a little more to discover its true power.

1. It all starts with giving. Whether you give money, a gift or your time, it is all about releasing your valuable assets—your time, your resources, and your talents.
 
2. Did you notice the promises are connected to giving? It will be given back to you. Now you and I know this is a promise from God. When God speaks, it’s a law. It’s a firm guarantee. 

3. Then Jesus describes the manner in which your giving will be given back: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. Now that’s quite a description. This is the “Law of Giving and Receiving.” The return for generosity is over-abundance. Wow!

It sounds risky, but Jesus guarantees that giving isn't losing something—it's gaining a hundred times more.

*I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.* (Acts 20:35 (KJV))

In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
