*NUMBERS 32 LESSONS: WE WILL CROSS & FIGHT*

_Key Bible Text:_
*"Our wives and children and our cattle and sheep will remain here in the towns of Gilead. But all of us are ready to go into battle under the LORD's command. We will cross the Jordan and fight, just as you have said."* (Numbers 32:26-27 (GNB))

*_Bible Insight:_*
There is another important lesson we see from the book of Numbers, Chapter 32. This is one lesson that must never be lost. If you put all the previous lessons together, it comes down to this one. If we get all other lessons and miss this one, it is like skimming through the surface without touching the substance. 

The lesson lies in the place of taking risks for the sake of the growth and safety or welfare of the brotherhood. Once you have gotten a bearing for yourself, and maybe those immediately under your influence, like wife and children, then there is a need to be concerned about the growth and wellbeing of the Kingdom. The brotherhood of the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ is the Kingdom we speak of. 

Now we can no longer concern ourselves alone with what we have achieved for self and immediate family. We must now concern ourselves with what we have achieved for others and the entire family of God-- the Kingdom. "We will cross and fight" represents the challenge to go beyond being saved but to labour for the salvation of others as well.

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
