*PLANNING WITH GOD*

*Ask the LORD to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out.* (Proverbs 16:3 (GNB))

*_Bible Insight:_*
Good intentions are not good enough. Good plans are not good enough. Good works are not good enough. Putting God at the center, beginning and end of every plan, intention or work is the sure way to succeed. 

When you plan with God, you ask for God's guidance and blessings. When you plan with God, you admit your inadequacy which is a mark of humility. Humility before God attracts divine assistance. 

No matter what good you set out to achieve, consult God from the beginning and all through the journey. Pray before, after and every major decision of the process. It need not be elaborate at each time but let it be fervent or sincere. Praying in tongues beneath your breath or a simple "Holy Spirit help me as I do this" can go a long way. When you plan with God, execute with God too. If anything go sour after you have done your best, be aware that nothing goes to waste with God-- even the challenge or damage may simply be an opportunity for divine redirection.

*DAILY DEW 16TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *THE WAY OF THE CROSS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.* (1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *Through Christ’s death on the cross, those who turn to Him are delivered from both the penalty and the power of sin.* (1 Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible) What are the benefits that accrue to us from following the cross, or carrying the cross to follow Jesus? In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
