*SMILING THROUGH THE STORMS*

_Key Bible Text:_
*They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.* (Psalms 91:12-13 (KJV))

*_Bible Insight:_*
Life is in series and phases: there are lows and highs, sweet and bitter, lovely and gory. Life sometimes rages but sometimes appears very beautiful, calm and friendly. Knowing that there will be good days and bad days is maturity. Knowing there will be wins and losses is wisdom. Knowing that the darkness will never prevail forever is foresight. Having patience to deal with the not so good days is a virtue. Above all, smiling through its all must be valued. 

God doesn't promise a never rough ride, he promised a safe arrival. God never promises victories without oppositions and confrontations. Being in the will of God does not mean being in the least problematic place. Being in the will of God means having assurance that you're covered no matter the dangers. Being in the will of God means you're never alone through the fires and through the oceans. 

The storms therefore is not the absence of God's presence. Through the storms, God proves His promises while developing our strength, patience and character. Through the storms, God sends His angels to be on standby and to keep charge over us. Through the storms, God trains us and makes our muscles stronger. Through the storms, God propels us to grow into sonship. Through the storms, God raises us his soldiers who can endure hardness and smile regardless.

*"May we smile through the storms.
May we be unstoppable when life stomps in Jesus name. Amen."*

*DAILY DEW 16TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *THE WAY OF THE CROSS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.* (1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *Through Christ’s death on the cross, those who turn to Him are delivered from both the penalty and the power of sin.* (1 Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible) What are the benefits that accrue to us from following the cross, or carrying the cross to follow Jesus? In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
