*THE DYNAMICS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS*

_Key Bible Text:_
*As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.* (Romans 3:10-12 (KJV)) 

_Bible Insight:_
Righteousness is not at the command of man. Righteousness is not attained by right works. Right works or good works breeds self-righteousness. The righteousness that men can ever produce is nothing but as filthy rags before God. *But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.* (Isaiah 64:6 (KJV))

Inherent in man, is wickedness of heart. Man is in a continually state of generating wickedness. The end time in itself is not the beginning of man's wickedness but the escalation and multiplication of it. The world is the habitation of human cruelty. In every part of the globe, wickedness and unrighteousness holds a field day. In every sector and in every field of life, darkness holds sway. 

The advent of Christ on earth is the only hope of man on earth. However, to live in the newness of life that Christ provides, we must recognize that outside of Christ, there is nothing but darkness, wickedness and unrighteousness. When we come to Christ, we must realize that only in Him can we embrace the reality of God's righteousness. 


MEDITATION:
*Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:* (John 16:7-8 (KJV))

*DAILY DEW 16TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *THE WAY OF THE CROSS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.* (1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *Through Christ’s death on the cross, those who turn to Him are delivered from both the penalty and the power of sin.* (1 Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible) What are the benefits that accrue to us from following the cross, or carrying the cross to follow Jesus? In answering this, we need to understand that it is the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross that gives the cross its power.  "1. *DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
