*PRESS ON TOWARDS THE GOAL* (I)

_Key Bible Text:_
*So I run straight, towards the goal in order to win the prize, which is God's call through Christ Jesus to the life above.* (Philippians 3:14 (GNB)).

_Bible Insight:_

A goal is an idea of the future or desired result that a person or a group of people envision, plan and commit to be a purpose or aim that has intrinsic value. 

Everyone that is on a race love to end the race with a prize that is befitting not just ending the race just like that without a prize. 

As this is the goal of a person on a race, to win the race with a prize, he will *Focus* on the race, he is running. He does not want to let anything to distract him. 

Although his mindset is to take away every distraction and discouragement that is on the way, it does not mean that the distractions will stop coming. However, it is for him to stay focus knowing the prize that is set before him. He will not let himself to be discouraged. 

Likewise in the heavenly race which we as believers embark on, it is only those who focus and endure till the very end that will be saved (Matthew 24:13) and get the crown of life at last. 

*MEDITATION*

Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. (HEB. 12:2a( GNB)).

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
