*YOU'LL RECEIVE THE PROMISE* 

_Key Bible Text:_
*For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.* (Hebrews 6:13-15 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_

It is in the nature of God to fulfil His word. He is a God that cannot lie. He does not promise what He won't or cannot do. When God says a thing, a watches His word to see to the performance of it. He is obligated to His word. His promises does not fail.

When God made a promise to Abraham, there was no greater authority He could swear by save Himself. God is the greatest. Men sometimes try to swear by things greater than themselves to assert their seriousness. However, God had no greater than Himself. It was a sure promise. 

Abraham needed to be rest assured that God who have promised is able to deliver the promise. Abraham needed both faith and patience. The promise is not in doubt. Its fulfilment is not in doubt. However Abraham must need exercise faith and patience even as He diligently waits for the fulfilment of the same. 

Beloved, God's word is filled with general and specific promises. Every promise God has made to you, will come true. Every word, will hold sway. There is no need to lose faith. Sometimes, there might be delays. With God, delays are not denials. Hold on in hope and faith. Make a camp fire around God's promises. Dance and celebrate as you confess the promises in advance. 

God will not put you to shame. Celebrate grace!

But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life.
