Practice More

*PRACTICE MORE*

_Key Bible Text:_
*But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.* (1 Timothy 4:7 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_

My right hand is not intrinsically better than my left hand.

Both were formed together in my mother's womb.

Both receive equal amount of nutrients.

Both have same potentials.

Both receive command from same brain.

But my right hand is stronger, faster and more skilful than my left hand.

Why?

If you know the answer then you know the reason why one believer is more skilful in spiritual things than another believer.

No, it's not that God prefers one above the other, for we're all His children.

All of us have same salvation. 

All of us bear His name.

All of us have the same Holy Spirit.

And there is no inferior Holy Spirit, semi-Holy Spirit, or mini-Holy Spirit, hence no believer is inferior to another toward God.

The difference between my right hand and my left hand is PRACTICE.

Just because my right hand takes on more tasks and practices more in doing things, it has become better over time.

In the same vein, the difference between the believer who flows in the things of the Spirit with ease and the one who doesn't or who struggles is PRACTICE.

Now here is the point I'm trying to make:

If you don't begin to exercise your faith, act on God's word and step out to start ministering to other people, you will remain spiritually undeveloped. 

You will keep attending every meeting organized by different ministeries and shouting "WORD" in all the word conventions in town but you will remain spiritually undeveloped because you don't practice.

To develop in the things of the Spirit, do the things of the Spirit much more. PRACTICE MORE!

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021* *TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."* (Job 13:15 (KJV))  _Bible Insight:_ It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us. But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.  God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
