*Where is the Jesus generation?*

_Key Bible Text:_
*"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"* (Matthew 16:26 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_

There was a man at the Beautiful Gate who asked for funds. Peter and John met him and said 'I don't have 1 million naira to send to you, but I have the name of Jesus! Rise up and be made whole!'

The man's life became beautiful!

This is the kind of conversation that believers should be having now. Beyond the discussion of doing good to others, and having the circle of friends, because of six zeros; we must ask ourselves...

"What can I do for men like this that will trump 200 million naira? Do I know the power of the name of Jesus?"

When you enter a room filled with the high and mighty in the land, or the rich and wealthy of the streets, what is your overwhelming thought?

Do you just see upper class connections, or a mission field?

Chances to land a contract, or to offer one?

Something to dream and aspire to, or the form of what is passing away?

Do you see opportunity to meet people, or opportunity for someone to meet Jesus?

Can you like Paul stand even as a prisoner, before a king and a governor and other high officials; and say to them...

Acts 26:28
King Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think you can persuade me to become a Christian in such a short time?”

Acts 26:29
Paul said, “Whether it is a short or a long time, I PRAY TO GOD THAT not only YOU but every person listening to me today WOULD be saved and BE LIKE ME —except for these chains I have!”

Acts 26:30
Then King Agrippa, Governor Festus, Bernice, and all the people sitting with them stood up

Which business is your number one? Vanities....equities....commodities.....or SOULS?

As one who reckons, he says to you, eat and drink, yet his heart is not with you [but is grudging the cost].* (Proverbs 23:7 (AMP))  _Bible Insight:_ I’ve learnt one thing in life so far: what you focus on somehow expands. Focus on your business, invest your thoughts and imaginations on how to grow it, talk about it with your spouse and friends; and gradually but surely, it will expand.  On the other hand, spend your time on every gist in town and watch the uselessness of your life expand. While we must remember or even celebrate this blessed season, we must never forget the spirit behind God's move and decision in sending His son Jesus. The answer to the why of Jesus' coming to earth is simply, LOVE. John 3:16 may have been abused but it cannot be overused or overemphasized. Jesus is God's decision born out of love.
