*WELCOME TO MISSIONS* (II)

_Key Bible Text:_
*There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.* (Proverbs 11:24 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_

God, from His vantage point, can look down upon an entire world and see every village, city, country, continent, and island at the same time. If we could only get far enough away, we could see the world as Jesus saw it. But some of us have never travelled and we have never listened to those who have travelled. We do not study geography. We know but little of what lies beyond. And worst still, when we do eventually we are all focused on greener pastures and not on missions and need for souls to be won.

SUPREME
No w let us look at another word in our motto, the word “supreme.” *“The SUPREME task of the Church is the evangelization of the world.”*

If world evangelization is our most important work, then when a missionary convention is held we should lay everything else aside and be present at every session, otherwise we are putting something else first, and we do not believe that it is more important than anything else. We show by our actions that we put missions second, or even last.

If world evangelization comes first, then we should concentrate on giving to missions and let others who do not have the vision, contribute to other things. There will always be plenty for the home work for there are always those who put the home work first. The many worthwhile objects here at home will be cared for, since only the minority will be interested in the supreme task of the church.

_MEDITATION:_
*If we put missions first, then we will give more to missions than to anything else. Otherwise something else takes first place.*

*DAILY DEW 2ND/DECEMBER/2021* *As Jesus or As yourself?* _Key Bible Text:_ * A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.* (John 13:34 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ One of the most outstanding things about the Christmas season is the birth of Christ. While we must remember or even celebrate this blessed season, we must never forget the spirit behind God's move and decision in sending His son Jesus. The answer to the why of Jesus' coming to earth is simply, LOVE. John 3:16 may have been abused but it cannot be overused or overemphasized. Jesus is God's decision born out of love. "For God so loved", he couldn't help but "gave His only begotten son". And even that had a reason, "that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life". *DAILY DEW 19TH/JULY/2021* *What's Your Focus?*  _Key Bible Text:_ *For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. As one who reckons, he says to you, eat and drink, yet his heart is not with you [but is grudging the cost].* (Proverbs 23:7 (AMP))  _Bible Insight:_ I’ve learnt one thing in life so far: what you focus on somehow expands. Focus on your business, invest your thoughts and imaginations on how to grow it, talk about it with your spouse and friends; and gradually but surely, it will expand.  On the other hand, spend your time on every gist in town and watch the uselessness of your life expand. You will know more gists and gossips and, by the law of attraction, you will attract people like you and your life will nosedive or at best stagnate.  The human mind is powerful to the extent that we focus and whether the focus is to the left or the right, your mind does not care.
